GO Wales: Achieve through Work Experience

GO Wales

GO Wales: Achieve through Work Experience is a programme of support and work experience which aims to level the playing field for students most at risk of not securing employment, education or training when they leave their HE course.

It provides mentoring and tailored work experience opportunities for full-time students under the age of 25, and support to empower the students to get the most out of  their work experience and plan their next steps.

GO Wales helps students who, because of their circumstances or requirements, find it difficult to access work experience and who need more support than they can get from embedded employability provision and other initiatives that are available to all students.

The programme is ESF funded, and the nine universities in Wales deliver the programme, which runs from April 2016 until 31 October 2022.
