- This circular provides guidance on developing Student Charters. It applies to Higher Education Institutions and to Further Education Institutions with directly funded higher education provision. You will need to take account of this guidance by 2012/13 if you do not already have a Student Charter or equivalent document in place. If you have such a document you will need to take account of this guidance in your next annual review of the charter.

- This circular sets out for consultation proposed changes to the funding mechanism for higher education in Wales in 2012/13 and 2013/14, in light of the new tuition fee regime.
The proposals respond to the Welsh Government’s policy on tuition fees from 2012/13 and the expectations on HEFCW to develop an appropriately focused method of allocation of any residual funding after the payment of fee grants.

- This circular provides the outcomes of the consultation in Circular W11/15HE: Key Information Sets, together with information on next steps for institutions. It will be of interest to HEIs and FE colleges offering directly funded HE and/or franchise HE provision. Any responses on equality and diversity should be submitted by 22 July 2011, and institutions will need to take steps to ensure that they can provide a Key Information Set (KIS) for each HE programme on their websites by September 2012.
