Reaching Higher strategy for higher education
The Welsh Government's previous long-term strategy for higher education in Wales from 2002 was Reaching Higher.
The strategy set out a range of targets for higher education Wales, to be achieved by 2010, relating to widening access, Welsh medium provision, Wales as a destination of first choice, overseas students, reducing overhead costs, 'spinout' companies from universities and research income.
Reaching Higher was superseded by For our Future in 2009.
